Well I’m buying the 328i Xdrive. Sadly I can’t buy it today. The owner/operator of the dealership is out of town until this afternoon and I have to work at noon. So I can’t get the paperwork until tomorrow’s. However I got the price down enough to make the payments and interest rate a lot more comfortable. Hopefully I’ll be picking up some snow tires, on 17” wheels for 400 bucks, because the OEM run flats are junk in the snow. And I found an OEM roof rack for 125, maybe someday it’ll get a hitch too. Because I am a strong car owner who don’t need no truck.

Also on my GVR-4 I have a sticker that says “rare item” so I found an equally accurate sticker for this one.

The bast part is I can still proudly wear my Blipshift AWDsome shirt.

I’m lookng into getting an after market one, but the dealer only offers a one month /1000 mile warranty. So I’d better drive a lot in the next month lol

Congrats, it looks nice and except for maybe the m word(maintenance) a better choice than the beetle, especially since roof racks aren’t even really usable on the beetle.

You are going to have a lot of fun with that car if my experiences with my 335ix are anything to go by. The first thing you REALLY should look into is getting the takata airbag recall done though.

It’s an 11, with 102,000 miles. Also this color is nice. Nothing flashy, but imo much better than any black or silver,

That’s what it came down to. It’s fun, comfortable, safe, and my wife likes it. Only thing I can’t says is that it’ll be super reliable

Did the stereotype of BMW owners not using their blinkers exist before BMW started using their stupid blocker stalks that return to the neutral position? Cus they are kind of annoying. I promise tho, I’ll be using mine religiously.

I never realized until now that the M3 Sedan has the coupe headlights. They look so much better. Maybe if I ever get in an accident with this car I can switch it to the coupe front end.

All E9X M3's share the same facade, I learned that after I got black E90 kidneys for my M3 when I had to in fact get E92 ones.

If your’s doesn’t have the projector head lights, it’s because it was an option on the 328i, I believe all 335i’s had them as standard.

My heated seat button is next to the DSC button, and I usually press both every morning. Heated seat on, DSC off.

This car will not be getting mods. I’m hoping I’ll be able to get another run fun beater to mod when it’s paid off. But it’s to civilized to get mods, Maybe wagon rear springs if I get a hitch.

These cars are surprisingly fun. Most M3 front suspension components are a direct swap, and there’s lots of little things to make these more fun. Also, buy all parts from FCP euro. They have a lifetime warranty on everything... even oil.

And I know I just told u not to fall down the rabbit hole, but the xDrive suspension is slacking a little.. lots of easy ways to fix that!

Lmfao on my Benz turning off ESP (same thing) was part of my start up routine.

Start>Heated seat on>Auto start/stop off>Sport mode on>ESP off.

If I really want to get fancy (track day, bro) I pull fuse 53 (I think it’s that one). That FULLY disables DSC and ABS, too. I have done that for Team O’Neil time. It was fun.

To be fair BMWs are extremely common here at work and very few have ever had issues with them. The internet tends to magnify issues.

French cars are meant to be poorly built and have electrical problems, my french car has been flawless for 3 years and 32k miles. (Now I’ve boasted about that I’ll definitely break down tomorrow).

I’m trying to get rid of an E90 OEM roof rack if the one you found falls through! It’s nearly brand new I only put it on the car once to see if it fit. I’ve also got the ski/snowboard attachment.

I’ve also got a brand new set of BMW all weather mats.

Congrats, that will be fun. My wife has an ‘07 X3 (6 speed) and I have an ‘03 E46 wagon (5 speed). Both have been great, and entirely reliable with one exception: my wife’s electric water pump failed sometime in the 130k mile range (?) I think. She pulled right over, got it flatbedded to a trusted shop, and $1,000 later it’s been good ever since, now over 203k. So... yeah. Have fun!

It seems like most of the isssues with this car are with the sensors that are supposed to tell you when you have a problem, and not an actual problem
